Job summary

OKA Direct LTD Bath, England, United Kingdom is seeking a part-time Interior Sales Advisor (32 hours) to join our Retail Team. You will deliver an exceptional in-store experience, provide product guidance and assist customers with stylish living solutions.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will build lasting relationships, achieve sales targets, process EPOS transactions accurately, and contribute to presenting our showroom to reflect OKA's luxury interiors.

Qualifications

• Previous luxury retail experience in furniture/homeware preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building.
• Proven soft selling and cross-selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to OKA customers.
• Offer product advice in person and over the phone.
• Generate and maximise revenue to meet sales targets.
• Process EPOS transactions accurately and handle paperwork.
• Identify sales opportunities and promote IDS services.
• Maintain showroom presentation and back-office standards.
• Greet customers and assist on the sales floor; support other stores as needed.

We are currently looking to recruit a part-time Interior Sales Advisor (32 hours) to support our Retail Team, based at OKA Bath.

We are looking for an agile and proactive Interior Sales Assistant with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit who can help us nurture this company culture. Reporting directly to the Store Manager the Interior Sales Assistant is responsible for is providing an enhanced retail experience for OKA customers through the provision of outstanding customer service, product knowledge and enthusiasm for beautiful interiors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provision of exceptional customer service to OKA customers
• Providing advice and guidance on products to customers in person and via phone
• Generating and maximising revenue to meet sales targets
• Efficient and accurate execution of EPOS transactions, processing of payments and associated transactional paperwork and processes
• Identifying sales opportunities
• Promoting the OKA In-Store Design Advisors and Interior Design Service (IDS)
• Being a proactive member of the sales floor team: greeting all customers and offering assistance, managing customer returns, communicating care and maintenance instructions for customer purchases, upholding presentation standards for the Store and back office area

ABOUT YOU

• Previous luxury retail experience, ideally within the furniture or homeware sectors
• Passion for providing best-in-class customer service and building lasting customer relationships
• Proven soft selling skills, including link-selling of complimentary products
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
• Flexible approach to working weekends, public holidays and occasional travel to support other Stores and for meetings and training
• Target-driven
• Keen interest and enthusiasm for beautiful interiors
