Coopers of Surrey is seeking a creative Interior Design Assistant to support the head designer and project manager on luxury residential and commercial projects. The role offers hands-on exposure from concept through to final installation within a fast-paced studio.

You will contribute to mood boards, layouts, and detailed presentations, while gaining experience across the design and build process. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and full UK driving license are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design knowledge or relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign).
• Knowledge of SketchUp or 3D visualization tools is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in creating mood boards, concept designs, and sample presentations.
• Support space planning, FF&E selection, and producing detailed specification schedules.
• Prepare for client presentations and internal design reviews.
• Prepare CAD drawings, layouts, and visual aids using design software.
• Research and source furniture, finishes, fixtures, and materials.
• Carry out site visits with head designer and assist with on-site styling and installation days.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
• Assist with documenting project progress for our social media team.

As our portfolio grows, we're looking for a creative and organised Interior Design Assistant to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a hands‑on, varied role where you'll support and work closely with our head designer and project manager across multiple live projects - from initial concept through to final installation. You'll have the opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the design and build process in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented studio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating mood boards, concept designs, and sample presentations
• Support in space planning, FF&E selection, and producing detailed specification schedules
• Prepare for client presentations and internal design reviews
• Prepare CAD drawings, layouts, and visual aids using design software
• Research and source furniture, finishes, fixtures, and materials
• Carry out site visits with head designer and assist with on‑site styling and installation days
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and consultants
• Assist with documenting project progress for our social media team

Requirements:

• Strong Interior Design knowledge or relevant experience in the industry
