RIBA 1834 Ltd. is seeking a Mid Weight Interior Architect in Surrey to support luxury residential projects across the UK and internationally.

You will cover concept development, presentations, technical packages and detailed interior architectural information, working independently yet closely with senior colleagues. The role requires 4+ years' UK experience in high-end interiors, strong detailing, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suite.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years' UK experience in luxury residential or high-end hospitality projects.
  • Experience taking projects from concept to detailed design and documentation.
  • Strong technical knowledge with interior detailing and documentation skills.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
  • Valid driving licence and car essential for commuting.

Responsibilities

  • Support projects across concept, design development, technical and delivery stages
  • Produce design proposals, client presentations, schedules and coordinated technical drawing packages
  • Develop detailed interior architectural information under senior supervision
  • Coordinate regularly with colleagues, senior team members and external project teams
  • Liaise with clients and other project stakeholders as required

Overview of the Role

A Mid Weight Interior Architect job is available in Surrey, supporting luxury residential projects for private clients and developers across the UK and internationally. The role covers concept development, presentations, technical packages and detailed interior architectural information. You will work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating closely with senior colleagues and the wider design team.

Practice & Project Information

This established interior design studio has a team of 16 and delivers high‑end residential interiors alongside selected hospitality work. Projects require strong creative design, technical detailing and accurate documentation throughout all stages. The team works collaboratively across design development, coordination and project delivery, with opportunities to attend project sites and meetings where required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support projects across concept, design development, technical and delivery stages
  • Produce design proposals, client presentations, schedules and coordinated technical drawing packages
  • Develop detailed interior architectural information under senior supervision
