Job summary

Bis Henderson Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Site Facilities Manager in Doncaster on an interim basis. You will oversee facilities, maintenance, compliance and contractor management to keep buildings and site infrastructure safe and operational.

The role covers PPM and reactive maintenance, contractor management with RAMS/permits, site services, and soft services. Experience with CAFM systems and IWFM qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Proven facilities or maintenance management experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, contractor management, RAMS and permit-to-work systems.
• Experience with CAFM or similar systems is important; IWFM qualification advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Oversee onsite contractors, RAMS, permits and sign-off.
• Manage building fabric, yards, offices, welfare facilities and site services.
• Oversee soft services including cleaning, waste, pest control and grounds maintenance.
• Support MHE fleet management, supplier reviews and performance.
• Plan small works, improvements and lifecycle replacement projects.
• Ensure site compliance across fire safety, legionella, electrical testing, LOLER, racking and wider health & safety.
• Maintain asset register and critical spares.
• Manage site security, emergency procedures and incident investigations.
• Review quotations, raise POs and control costs for value for money.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to minimise disruption to warehouse operations.

Warehouse Site Facilities Manager | Doncaster | £300-£325 per day

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Site Facilities Manager to join a busy logistics operation in Doncaster on an interim basis.

You’ll take some ownership of facilities, maintenance, compliance and contractor management. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for keeping the buildings, equipment and wider site infrastructure safe, compliant and operational.

The role will include:

• Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
• Overseeing onsite contractors and service providers, including RAMS, permits and sign-off
• Managing building fabric, yards, offices, welfare facilities and site services
• Managing soft services including cleaning, waste, pest control and grounds maintenance
• Supporting MHE fleet management, supplier reviews and performance
• Planning small works, improvements and lifecycle replacement projects
• Managing site compliance across fire safety, legionella, electrical testing, LOLER, racking and wider H&S requirements
• Maintaining the asset register and critical spares
• Managing site security, emergency procedures and incident investigations
• Reviewing quotations, raising POs and challenging costs to ensure value for money
• Working closely with the operational and technical teams to minimise disruption to warehouse operations

We’re looking for someone with proven facilities or maintenance management experience within a warehouse, logistics or similarly complex operational environment.

You’ll need strong knowledge of statutory compliance, contractor management, RAMS and permit-to-work systems, alongside good commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a busy site.

Experience with CAFM or similar systems is important. An IWFM or relevant facilities qualification would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
