Job summary

Mayflower Washroom Solutions, part of the phs Group, is seeking an Interim Head of Warehouse at our Coleshill site to lead the warehouse operation for a 3-month period. You will supervise teams, drive safety and efficiency, and align operations with business objectives.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong operational experience, and a track record of delivering continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in warehouse/logistics environments.
• Proven track record delivering improvements and performance targets.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and KPI performance.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse inventory control and distribution processes.
• Experience leading health, safety and compliance programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the warehouse function.
• Lead and develop warehouse management and operations teams.
• Drive a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
• Ensure service, quality and productivity targets are met.
• Develop and implement plans to improve efficiency and performance.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and effective stock control processes.
• Lead health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance.
• Manage resources to meet changing demand.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to support business performance.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Support succession planning and talent development.
