Job summary

Park Avenue Recruitment is sourcing an Interim Voids Coordinator for a UK housing provider. The role is office-based, full-time, 5 days per week, with a 6-month initial contract and a pay rate of £25-£27 per hour Umbrella.

The successful candidate will oversee the void process from handover to letting, coordinating repairs, contractors and lettings teams to achieve timely, quality refurbishments and compliance with lettable standards.

Qualifications

• Strong previous void coordination experience is essential.
• Good understanding of social housing voids, refurbishment and turnaround requirements.
• Experience coordinating repairs, contractors, and lettings teams.
• Ability to manage multiple properties against deadlines and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating void properties from start to finish
• Monitoring void progress and ensuring turnaround targets are met
• Liaising closely with contractors, repairs teams, housing and lettings
• Identifying delays, bottlenecks and properties at risk of missing targets
• Monitoring contractor performance and quality of works
• Supporting operational meetings and maintaining clear action logs
• Using performance information and KPIs to track progress
• Helping ensure properties meet agreed lettable and refurbishment standards
• Supporting invoice checks, spend monitoring and value for money
• Keeping all relevant teams updated throughout the void process
