Park Avenue Recruitment is assisting a housing provider in Guildford to recruit an Interim Voids Coordinator for an initial 6-month contract. The role is full-time and office-based, paying £25-£27 per hour via Umbrella, with an emphasis on hands-on coordination of void properties.

Qualifications

• Strong previous void coordination experience is essential.
• Good understanding of social housing voids and refurbishment.
• Knowledge of void inspections and turnaround requirements.
• Familiarity with repairs and maintenance processes.
• Experience coordinating contractors and lettings teams.
• Ability to manage workloads against deadlines and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate void properties from start to finish.
• Monitor progress to meet turnaround targets.
• Liaise with contractors, repairs teams, housing and lettings.
• Identify delays and risks to targets.
• Monitor contractor performance and quality of works.
• Support operational meetings and maintain action logs.
• Use KPIs to track progress.
• Ensure properties meet lettable/refurbishment standards.
• Support invoice checks and spend monitoring.
