Job summary

Domus Recruitment are supporting an established provider to recruit an Interim Turnaround Manager in adult social care. You will lead a service through a period of significant improvement with strong, visible leadership from day one.

Applicants will have Registered Manager experience in a CQC-regulated setting, a track record of turnaround or service improvement, and a proactive, solution-focused approach to complex challenges.

Qualifications

• Registered Manager experience in a CQC-regulated adult social care service.
• Proven turnaround or service improvement experience during significant change.
• Strong understanding of CQC, safeguarding, quality and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to provide safe, person-centred support that promotes independence and wellbeing.
• Drive service improvement and support the service through a turnaround period.
• Ensure the service meets CQC, regulatory and internal quality, compliance and safety standards.
• Identify risks and implement robust action plans for improvement.
• Provide strong, visible leadership and support the team through change.
• Build positive relationships with people supported, families, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Manage recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance management.
• Work with senior management to provide updates on progress, risks and improvement activity.
• Maintain appropriate CQC evidence, documentation and governance processes.

Domus Recruitment are working with an established provider who are seeking an experienced Interim Turnaround Manager to support a service through a period of significant improvement and turnaround.

This Interim Turnaround Manager role is a great opportunity for an experienced manager with a strong background in adult social care, quality improvement and service turnaround, who can step into a challenging environment and provide confident, visible leadership from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the team to provide safe, person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes
• Take responsibility for driving service improvement and supporting the service through a period of turnaround
• Ensure the service meets CQC, regulatory and internal quality, compliance and safety standards
• Identify areas of risk and implement robust action plans to address service improvement requirements
• Provide strong, visible leadership and support the team through change
• Build positive relationships with the people supported, families, colleagues and external stakeholders
• Manage recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance management effectively
• Work closely with senior management to provide updates on progress, risks and improvement activity
• Ensure appropriate CQC evidence, documentation and governance processes are maintained

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a CQC-regulated adult social care service
• Proven experience of turnaround, service improvement or managing services through significant change
• Strong understanding of CQC, safeguarding, quality and regulatory requirements
• Confident leading teams within challenging or high-pressure environments
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, resilient and solution-focused approach to service management
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care, or a commitment to achieve this
