Job summary

The Stephen James Partnership seeks an interim Commercial Property Lawyer with 5+ PQE to lead a major telecoms site acquisition and deployment programme in the UK. You will act as sole internal advisor on property, telecoms and ECC matters, coordinating with acquisition agents and network teams to drive deals and governance.

The role is a 12-18 month assignment, flexible across UK hubs with some travel to London.

Qualifications

5+ years' PQE with telecoms site agreement and property experience.
Solid ECC advice and litigation/case management experience.
Ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Act as sole internal POC for property, telecoms and ECC legal advice on a major site acquisition and deployment programme.
Manage a high volume of non-contentious rights acquisition matters, securing Heads of Terms and Early Access Agreements.
Advise on rights acquisition under the Electronic Communications Code, including strategies to reach consensual deals efficiently.
Manage external lawyers delivering leases/agreements to programme milestones, including ECC-related litigation and case management where needed.
Drive process improvement across governance, templates, automation and use of technology/AI.
Provide strategic guidance on programme delivery and infrastructure/neutral host negotiations.
Report and present on delivery to senior stakeholders.
