Job summary

Keid Consulting is seeking an Acquisition Surveyor role to identify and secure new telecom sites across the South of England, handling planning permissions and tenancy negotiations. The position involves coordinating with clients, local authorities, and landowners to ensure site viability and timely delivery.

The role requires managing site surveys, preparing reports, and guiding multi-skilled site visits, with ongoing support to subcontractors throughout the build lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Identification of new sites for the installation of telecommunication equipment.
• Consultation with Clients to determine network requirements in relation to search areas given.
• Preparation and submission of search reports providing site specific information.
• Obtaining aerial height panoramic photographs for identified sites.
• Attending and leading Multi Skilled Visits to enable site design.
• Negotiation of terms for the lease/licence within Client parameters including term of agreement, rent, review provisions, break clauses, site sharing rights etc.
• Consultation with Local Authority Planning Departments and Stakeholders, preparation and submission of planning applications and supplementary information, negotiation with planning officers.
• Preparation of standard form lease agreements-in some cases.
• Liaison with Client and Landlord solicitors through to legal completion.
• Updating Client and internal project tracking spread sheets throughout the acquisition process along with submission of invoicing pro-forma on reaching payment milestones.
• Completion and submission of Access hand over packs.
• On-going support to sub-contractors throughout the build phase.
