Job summary

1st Executive Ltd is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Officer to oversee inventory, supplier and demand planning within a highly regulated engineering environment. You will manage performance, drive improvements and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure supply continuity and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory, materials or supplier management.
• Experience in complex engineering, manufacturing, defence, aerospace or regulated environments.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify risks or trends.
• Experience managing supplier performance against KPIs.
• Understanding of inventory management and demand planning.
• Excel and data-analysis capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and manage priorities.
• Proactive, structured problem solving and attention to data/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support operational supply-chain management across inventory, supplier, demand and performance management activities.
• Review existing processes and identify opportunities to improve controls, efficiency and supply-chain performance.
• Analyse supply and consumption data to identify trends, risks, availability issues and potential obsolescence.
• Work with project and engineering teams to ensure effective transition from project delivery into operational service.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of relevant supply-chain records, documentation and systems.
• Work with suppliers and service partners to ensure contractual deliverables, service levels and KPIs are achieved.
• Identify, manage and mitigate upstream supply-chain risks in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate repair and return activity, ensuring appropriate records and documentation are maintained.
• Maintain accurate supply-chain data and ensure information held across relevant systems is complete and up to date.
• Produce regular supply-chain reporting and management information for senior stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with Finance, Engineering, Project Management, Operations and external suppliers to resolve supply and procurement issues.
• Monitor stock availability, material requirements and supplier performance across an assigned portfolio of equipment.
• Support compliance with relevant policies, procedures, contractual requirements and governance arrangements.
