Sewell Wallis are proud to be partnering with a well recognised, global professional services business based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, in their search for a Senior Finance Business Partner on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. The successful candidate will join a high-performing commercial finance team and will be responsible for partnering with IT, which is undergoing significant transformational change projects and is a key area of spend.

The Senior Finance Business Partner will ensure rigour and control over the management and reporting of costs, including Capex and Project costs. This includes BAU analysis and reporting, cyclical processes such as budgeting and reforecasting, and ad-hoc analysis.

What will you be doing?

• Influencing senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor by providing valuable commercial insights and challenge to cost plans.
• Overseeing project tracking, KPIs, and Capex.
• Presenting monthly MI and commentary to Service Directors, highlighting progress against budgets/reforecasts, emerging issues, and potential challenges.
• Ensuring Headcount data is prepared, reviewed, and commented on for variances.
• Collaborating with the Costs Senior BP to provide consistent, insightful, and regular reporting across specific Service Areas.
• Conducting ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and modelling on various costs across the firm.
• Analyzing costs to identify trends, mitigate risks, and working with the Senior Finance BP - Costs to implement necessary changes.

What skills are we looking for?

• ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong analysis and financial modelling skills.
• Experience in project tracking and Capex modelling.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the personality strength to effectively convey the finance perspective.

What's on offer?

• Salary of £75,000 - £78,000.
