Job summary

Major, Lindsey & Africa is assisting a high-growth international fintech business in recruiting an experienced Senior Legal Counsel for an interim role in its Corporate Legal team. The role focuses on leading M&A, financing and governance matters, advising senior stakeholders, and coordinating cross-border matters across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified lawyer with 6+ years’ PQE in corporate law.
• Experience advising on complex cross-border M&A and financing.
• In-house experience and exposure to equity fundraising preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on significant corporate transactions including M&A, strategic investments, and financings.
• Advise on governance, treasury and intra-group financing, and investor matters.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions and external counsel.
• Support international expansion and regulatory licensing projects.
