Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting an Interim Senior Accountant for a Birmingham-based manufacturing business. You will oversee monthly management accounts, lead the month-end and year-end close, and ensure robust cost and stock reporting to support operations.

You will partner with production teams to drive financial insight, manage budgeting and cash flow, and liaise with auditors as required. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial/manufacturing sector desirable.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven Senior Accountant, Financial Accountant, or Management Accountant role.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, stock accounting, and manufacturing reporting.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience.
• Ability to understand business operations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Job Offer
