Job summary

Caritas Recruitment is recruiting an Interim SEND Case Worker for Derbyshire, covering Chesterfield & Bolsover Localities. This is an initial 3-month contract with flexible working options; the post focuses on supporting EHC processes and managing assessments and reviews.

You will join a busy SEND Service, coordinating EHC assessments and ensuring statutory timescales are met while working closely with schools, families and professionals to support positive outcomes for children and young people

Qualifications

• Previous SEND Casework experience within a Local Authority.
• Strong knowledge of EHCP legislation and SEND processes.
• Experience managing assessments and reviews.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the EHC Needs Assessment process.
• Coordinating Annual Reviews.
• Managing non-complex SEND casework.
• Ensuring statutory timescales and processes are met.
• Working collaboratively with schools, parents, carers and professionals.
• Supporting positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
