Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are looking for dedicated and highly organised SEND Caseworkers to join our team, supporting the delivery of high-quality statutory SEND services, and ensuring children, young people and families receive the right support at the right time.
As a SEND Caseworker, you will coordinate and manage Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessment and review processes, working closely with families, education settings, health professionals and partner agencies. You will play a key role in ensuring statutory duties are fulfilled, maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and supporting the achievement of positive outcomes for children and young people.
Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will oversee complex casework, coordinate multi-agency advice and contributions, monitor progress against statutory timescales and ensure that EHC plans are developed, amended and reviewed in line with legislative requirements. You will act as a key point of contact for families and professionals, providing advice, guidance and support throughout the SEND process.
We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of SEND legislation and practice, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be committed to strengths-based practice, inclusion and delivering a child-centred approach that places children, young people and families at the heart of decision-making.
