Job summary

Panoramic Associates is supporting a large primary school in the Wirral with an interim School Business Manager to oversee day-to-day financial administration, invoices, and routine HR/admin requests.

You will line manage three admin assistants, report to the Headteacher and work onsite five days a week for approximately 36 hours, with term-time only hours and a start around 12 October, subject to DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience as School Business Manager or school office manager.
• Onsite work and broad, practical workload.
• No formal finance qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Process and oversee invoices and daily financial tasks.
• Manage routine HR/admin requests with central support.
• Oversee school operations including compliance and H&S.
• Line manage three admin assistants.
• Report to the Headteacher.
