Job summary

In The News is looking for an experienced Packaging Technologist for an initial contract with a food manufacturing client in the UK. This role requires expertise in food packaging, along with knowledge of sustainability trends and the ability to conduct packaging trials on the factory floor.

The candidate will assist the NPD team in developing new concepts and maintaining sustainable packaging practices. The role offers a competitive day rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• Track record in fast-paced food manufacturing environments.
• Up-to-date knowledge of packaging and sustainability trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining the innovation packaging reduction program.
• Organise and undertake packaging trials.
• Engage with Technical & Operations teams for quality checks.
