Job Title: Interim Operations Director

Location: Leeds & Manchester (Multi-site)

Duration: 6 Months (Interim Contract)

We are supporting a leading food manufacturing business in their search for an experienced Interim Operations Director to oversee operations across two key production sites in Leeds and Manchester.

This is a hands-on leadership role, focused on driving operational performance, team alignment, and ensuring continuity across both facilities during a period of transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and day-to-day operational leadership across both manufacturing sites
• Lead on performance improvement, efficiency, and site optimisation initiatives
• Support and guide site leadership teams, ensuring consistency in processes and standards
• Maintain strong focus on food safety, quality, and H&S compliance
• Report into the Group Leadership team and contribute to wider business planning

About You:

• Proven track record as an Operations Director or Site Director within the food manufacturing sector
• Multi-site leadership experience is essential
• Strong background in lean manufacturing, CI and KPI-driven performance management
• Effective communicator with ability to influence and align teams during change
• Available to start within the next 2–4 weeks
