Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a growing manufacturing business to appoint an Interim Project Manager for NPD/NPI. You will own new product development from early requirements through to launch, coordinating engineering, design, manufacturing and commercial teams to drive timely, compliant delivery.

You will establish objectives, milestones and clear ownership, manage risks, and provide stakeholders with concise progress updates across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading new product development or introduction projects in manufacturing.
• Strong planning, milestone tracking and risk management skills.
• Ability to coordinate engineering, design, manufacturing, commercial teams and external stakeholders.
• Experience delivering products through development, testing and readiness for launch.

Responsibilities

• Own NPD/NPI projects from brief to launch.
• Develop and manage practical project plans with clear milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams; secure decisions and manage dependencies.
• Oversee schedules for testing, validation and certification; ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Identify risks and optimize processes to improve delivery and visibility.
