Job summary

Sewell Wallis Ltd in South Yorkshire is recruiting an Interim Financial Controller to join a leading manufacturing business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is based in North Sheffield with hybrid working for suitable travel from further afield.

You will lead a small finance team, own financial reporting, standard costing and forecasting, and work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to drive insights and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing finance and standard costing.
• Strong Excel modelling and complex financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own financial control and management accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Lead and develop a small finance team.
• Oversee month-end reporting and timely financial information.
• Analyse manufacturing performance and cost movements.
• Develop standard costing and costing models.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and pricing decisions.
• Provide insights to senior stakeholders.
