Job summary

The Management Accountant role is with a leading research organisation in the United Kingdom. You will deliver accurate management accounts, support month-end processes, and maintain robust financial controls.

Qualifications

• A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience within a charity, not-for-profit, research, grant-funded or commercial environment.
• Experience of month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to build effective relationships and manage competing priorities.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and financial controls.
• 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and 3 additional Christmas closure days.
• Defined Contribution Pension Scheme with employer contributions of 10% to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Build effective working relationships across the organisation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
