Job summary

Pratap Partnership is seeking an Interim Management Accountant in the Goole area to support the Financial Director and finance team during a busy period. The role covers management accounts, cash-flow, year-end tasks, and stock accounting with a hands-on approach.

The ideal candidate is qualified or experienced in management accounting, with manufacturing exposure and familiarity with stock costing and year-end audits; interim assignment initially for three months.

Qualifications

• Qualified or experienced Management Accountant
• Hands-on finance role experience
• Manufacturing experience with stock accounting/standard costing is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts and assist month-end/year-end reporting
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding items
• Prepare and review accruals and prepayments
• Carry out intercompany reconciliations and balancing
• Support year-end audit and statutory accounts process
• Produce cash-flow reporting and rolling forecasts
• Assist with invoice discounting/credit-related reconciliations and reporting
• Provide payroll year-end support and cover when required
• Support budgeting activities and financial forecasts
• Assist with year-end stock count and stock accounting
• Daily cash and bank reporting and payment planning
