Job summary

Eaton Syalon Ltd in North Nottinghamshire is seeking a Management Accountant for a 15-month fixed-term contract. The role offers a starting salary of £50,000 plus benefits, with a November or December 2026 start date.

You will join an established finance team and deliver timely financial information, driving performance insights and informed decision-making. Working closely with finance and operations, you’ll manage monthly accounts, budgets and forecasts, support statutory reporting and VAT

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting and monthly close processes.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to interpret financial data.
• Hands-on, proactive with ownership mindset.
• Able to build relationships across finance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, cashflow forecasts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide financial insight through business partnering with operational and commercial teams.
• Assist with statutory accounts preparation and liaison with auditors.
• Support VAT reporting and compliance.
• Contribute to development of financial systems, reporting and controls across multi-currency, multi-entity environment.
• Collaborate across the finance function on projects and improvements.
