Job summary

Spinwell Ltd is seeking a Logistics Officer to drive ILS strategies and manage lifecycle support for a public sector project in Corsham. The role is hybrid, requiring 1–2 days on site per week, with SC and Sole UK National clearance requested.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement and operations to ensure maintainability and supportability, including LSA activities and spares/fixtures planning. This is a fixed-term contract until 27/03/2027 with market-rate pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply ILS principles in a regulated environment.
• Experience with ILS concepts and the CADMID lifecycle is desirable.
• Familiarity with logistics support analysis (LSA) and maintainability practices.

Spinwell is recruiting for a Logistics Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LOGISTICS OFFICER

• Develop and maintain the ILS strategy and plans, such as the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP).
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of the system through the CADMID cycle, ensuring supportability is considered at every stage of the lifecycle.
• Act as the primary point of contact for ILS-related matters with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure supportability requirements are recognised.
• Logistics Support Analysis (LSA): Conduct or oversee LSA to identify and optimise support requirements.
• Ensure that the system is designed for maintainability, reliability, and supportability.
• Define and manage requirements for spares, tools, test equipment, and facilities
• Monitor and manage risks associated with component obsolescence.
• Develop strategies to mitigate obsolescence issues, such as identifying alternative components or redesigning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE LOGISTICS OFFICER
