Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking an interim Kitchen Manager in Harrogate to support an established catering team for 2-3 months. The role is primarily office-based, using your food safety management experience to oversee records and HACCP compliance.

You will supervise two kitchen outlets, plan resources, train staff, and work with a supportive senior management team to improve efficiency and GP. Flexibility, meals on duty, and parking are available.

Qualifications

• Experience with HACCP and food safety management.
• Strong stock control and wastage reduction knowledge.
• Proven staff management and training delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen records and improve efficiency.
• Oversee two kitchen outlets.
• Plan resourcing through analysis of trend history.
• Improve GP through menu revisions and stock control.
• Review standard operating procedures and HACCP systems.
• Mentor and motivate Chefs, KPs and FOH staff.
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure quality.
