Overview

It\'s more than a job. As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you contribute to the success of your team, and to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations.

At Kuehne+Nagel, our work truly contributes to more than we imagine. The IS Lead is responsible for ensuring the continued support and delivery of the KN LCST Contract. The contract has significant project deliverables over the next 3 years and the current IS Director cannot (due to MOD Ethical Wall) steer the people and projects to deliver the IS change. Responsibilities

• Management of IS teams in delivery of Dispatcher Upgrade, B55, FOC, Ajax, Air Worthiness projects
• Responsibility for the successful change management of the IS Support teams that will need to grow to reflect the additional overheads from projects.
• Communication with Team Leidos Prime (Leidos) for ongoing delivery of IS change.
• Coordination of management and delivery teams for all IS LCST associated work.
• Ensures a consistent quality of service embedded within each project by developing collateral based upon industry recognised best practice and Kuehne+Nagel IS processes.
• Management Status reports
• Project delivery health checks with delivery team
• Project Dashboards - Time, Quality & Budget
• Practical experience of working in major change capacity

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of leading delivery teams
• Practical experience of driving test approach and governance
• Capable of defining, explaining and maintaining a high-level, longer-term view of projects\' relationships with strategy and other initiatives
• Ability to determine resource requirements in line with the plan
• Sufficient industry expertise to understand and plan for defect analysis and planning of updates to technical specifications
• Experienced in understanding business requirements and interpreting business requirements
• Skilled at managing interpersonal relationships, solicit commitment and can motivate through teamwork
• Good communication and influencing skills
• Ability to travel inside of the UK
• Ability to work with and develop relationships with internal and external teams
