Senior Recruitment Consultant | Indirect Tax

Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking an Interim Indirect Tax Accountant to oversee VAT processes. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders across Finance, Tax, and external bodies like HMRC, with a focus on compliance, process improvement, and advisory support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Reconcile tax accounts and maintain compliance with UK and international tax regulations.
• Support offshore teams and ensure Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance.
• Provide training and advisory support on indirect tax matters.

What We’re Looking For:

• ACA, or equivalent.
• Indirect tax expertise, ideally within financial services.
• In-depth tax accounting knowledge essential.
• Strong attention to detail, technical tax knowledge, and ability to collaborate effectively.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and high-performing team. This role will require two days a week in the Leeds office.
