Job summary

Executive Network Group in Leicester is seeking an experienced HR Shared Services/HR Operations Lead for an interim role to steer payroll and back-office HR during a period of transition. The role sits within a high-visibility environment and reports to the HR Director, with a hybrid working pattern (3 days on-site / 2 days remote).

You will lead day-to-day HR Shared Services and Payroll, ensure compliance across the payroll function, and drive improvements in SLAs, data reporting and governance

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in HR Shared Services or HR Operations within complex multi-site environments.
• Strong payroll knowledge and ability to challenge processes and suppliers.
• Executive presence to work with the HR Director and senior stakeholders.
• Experience mapping processes, SLAs, and improving efficiency with HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR Shared Services and Payroll operations.
• Provide payroll oversight and challenge compliance with internal and external stakeholders.
• Define and refine SLAs and controls to improve service delivery.
• Translate payroll findings into actionable operational steps with the Payroll Consultant.
• Oversee systems, data and reporting to create executive dashboards.
• Support onboarding for major new contract wins and growth.
