Job summary

VanRath Search & Selection is recruiting an Interim HR Manager in Newry & Mourne, Northern Ireland. You will lead HR functions during a growth phase, shaping our people, culture, and processes to support global success.

The role requires proven generalist HR experience, cross-border employment law knowledge, and strong stakeholder management. You will oversee end-to-end HR activities and lead international HR initiatives in a complex multi-region environment.

Qualifications

• Proven generalist HR experience, including international HR practices.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR regulations across jurisdictions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organised, proactive with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in HRIS, ATS systems, and Microsoft Office.
• CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification is highly desirable.
• 4-6 years' progressive HR experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full employee lifecycle from talent acquisition to exits.
• Handle complex employee relations and investigations across regions.
• Develop and review HR policies aligned with international standards.
• Support payroll and benefits administration on a global scale.
• Provide strategic HR advice to managers and leaders.
• Lead talent development, training, and succession planning initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with employment legislation in multiple countries and prepare HR reports using data analytics.
• Act as HR lead for global apprentice and internship programmes.
