Job summary

Jackson Hogg Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the people agenda during an exciting expansion phase. The role is based in Northumberland and combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, influencing senior stakeholders and building a scalable people function.

You will own the full lifecycle, from recruitment through to exit, manage ER matters and coach managers to foster high-performing teams, driving engagement, wellbeing and culture across the business.

• Experience as a senior HRBP or HR Manager leading people strategies.
• Experience in a stand-alone HR role with end-to-end HR ownership.
• Strong employment law expertise and commercial mindset.
• Strategic thinker who can also get into the detail.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and can manage multiple priorities.

The Role

• Leading and developing the people strategy to support growth.


• Owning the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to exit.


• Managing employee relations and employment law matters.

• Driving engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives.


• Overseeing HR systems, payroll inputs, benefits and people reporting.


• Building scalable processes, policies and frameworks as the business grows.

About You

• Has experience as a Senior HRBP or HR Manager.


• Has experience working in a stand alone HR role


• Is CIPD qualified (or brings equivalent experience).


• Has strong employment law expertise.


• Is strategic in their thinking but equally happy getting into the detail.


• Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.


• Can juggle multiple priorities and adapt quickly.


• Works autonomously and takes ownership of outcomes.


• Is commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions-focused.


• Isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up and do whatever is needed to get the job done.
