Job summary

Office Angels is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a 3-month temporary assignment in Grays, Essex. The role is office-based, 9:00am-5:00pm, and will support the senior HR team with employee relations across the business.

You will handle disciplinary and grievance cases, advise managers on employment law, investigations, and reports, while coordinating with Trade Unions and contributing to change projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Coordinator role.
• Strong Employee Relations experience with confidence managing end-to-end casework independently.
• Experience working with Trade Unions and unionised environments.
• Sound knowledge of UK Employment Law.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and influence at all levels.
• Highly organised with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Available to start at short notice or immediately preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing a broad range of Employee Relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues.
• Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employment law, policies and procedures.
• Supporting investigations, hearings and outcome recommendations.
• Building effective relationships with managers, employees and Trade Union representatives.
• Advising on collective and individual consultation matters where required.
• Supporting organisational change, workforce planning and people initiatives.
• Ensuring HR records and documentation are maintained accurately and compliantly.
• Assisting with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the people function.
• Producing HR reports and management information as required.
