Job summary

Stonegate School – Part of Hexagon Care Services is seeking a Teaching Assistant / Higher Level Teaching Assistant for an interim contract at Lower Bentham. Salaries: TA £23,000-£24,500; HLTA £26,000-£28,000 with a £1,000 annual location bonus. Desirable: driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a TA or HLTA is essential for HLTA Role.
• Background in supporting young people with SEMH needs or experience in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
• A passion for engaging students in both academic and vocational subjects.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support students academically and emotionally through a personalised approach to education.
• You’ll be supporting a small number of pupils (max. 6 per class) to build meaningful relationships and high-impact learning.
