Job summary

Brava Education is partnering with a small independent specialist school in Solihull to appoint an experienced Interim Headteacher to lead development and Ofsted preparation.

This is a hands-on, non-teaching leadership role focused on pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD and SEMH, with responsibility for day-to-day operations, curriculum, safeguarding and governance.

The role runs interim until February 2027, with a competitive daily rate and a fast-moving recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an independent school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Independent School Standards.
• NPQH.
• Experience leading a small specialist setting in a hands-on, operational capacity.
• Strong understanding of curriculum, teaching and learning, SEND, safeguarding, QA and governance.
• Confident taking ownership and leading from the front.
