Job summary

Global Resourcing is partnering with a UK charity to appoint an Interim Head of Technology. This role will provide strategic and operational leadership of the technology function, directing a team of around 14 with three direct reports, and reporting to senior leadership.

You will develop and deliver an integrated Technology, Digital and Data roadmap, align investment with priorities, and ensure measurable value. The role requires strong governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leader with experience in technology, digital or information systems.
• Experience developing technology strategies and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong governance, risk management and resilience across organisation-wide tech.
• Experience managing third-party technology suppliers.
• Background in charity or not-for-profit sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the organisation's technology strategy and roadmap.
• Lead technology operations, infrastructure, business systems and service delivery.
• Provide strategic technology advice to senior stakeholders and the board.
• Oversee architecture, applications and systems integration.
• Drive service improvement and operational performance across technology.
• Ensure cyber security, governance, risk and resilience are robust.
• Manage technology suppliers and outsourced services.
• Support digital transformation, automation, AI and emerging tech initiatives.
