Job summary

PRS for Music is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement on a 12-month maternity cover basis. The role leads a procurement transformation, implements a new supplier system (Atamis), and drives cost savings and governance across the function.

You will report to senior leadership and shape procurement strategy to support financial sustainability and operational excellence. The role requires extensive leadership experience, strategic sourcing, contract management and the ability to influence

Qualifications

• Strong procurement leadership and team development skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
• Experience delivering value via cost savings and commercial negotiations.
• Strategic sourcing, supplier programmes and governance frameworks.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership and boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Procurement team and drive transformation.
• Define and deliver procurement strategy aligned to organisational goals.
• Manage spend, savings targets and 12–24 month sourcing pipeline.
• Oversee supplier onboarding, system rollout (Atamis) and change management.
• Ensure audit remediation actions and strengthened controls across the function.
• Govern supplier strategy, performance measures and contract governance.
