Stott and May Inc. is seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to take ownership of procurement across multiple categories, delivering sourcing strategies, driving value and reducing costs while managing supplier risk.

This hands-on role suits a commercially astute, independent professional in a fast-paced environment. The role involves leading end-to-end sourcing activities, negotiating terms, and collaborating with stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' procurement experience.
• Strong sourcing, tendering and commercial negotiation experience.
• Proven ability to deliver cost savings and commercial value.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership.
• Commercially minded, self-driven and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working at pace and managing changing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement activity across multiple categories.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead RFPs, RFIs and competitive tender processes.
• Analyse spend, market trends and supplier capabilities to identify savings and efficiencies.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and supplier agreements.
• Work with Legal on contracts, risks and obligations.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Ensure procurement activity follows appropriate policies and governance.
