Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group’s HR Division is assisting a Southampton-based organisation to appoint an Interim Head of People Development & Reward for a six-month assignment. The role partners with the executive team to shape talent strategies, leadership capability and reward frameworks, driving performance and engagement during a transformative period.

Hybrid work with circa 50% onsite, immediate start, and a competitive day rate of £400-£450 inside IR35, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Senior HR leadership experience in complex or fast-paced organisations.
• Strong expertise in organisational development, leadership development, talent management and reward.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives.
• Commercially minded with balance of strategy and delivery.
• Passionate about developing people and organisational capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse portfolio of People CoE functions (L&D, Leadership, OD, Talent, Culture and Reward).
• Translate priorities into practical, commercially focused people strategies.
• Partner with senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability and succession planning.
• Review and evolve reward and recognition frameworks.
• Champion high-performance culture and embed development initiatives.
• Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders on workforce capability.
