Job summary

Morson Group in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an Interim Head of Configuration Management to lead the development and deployment of a global Configuration Management Framework across the organisation. You will report to the Chief Engineer and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, IT and Programme Management to embed CM discipline into daily workflows.

The role requires deep knowledge of EIA-649 and ISO 10007, hands-on rollout experience, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

8+ years in Configuration Management with at least 3 years in leadership.
Deep knowledge of CM standards and frameworks (EIA-649, ISO 10007).
Strong understanding of multi-discipline engineering practices.
Hands-on CM software tools experience.
Experience in regulated industries advantageous.
Excellent stakeholder management and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead development and deployment of a global Configuration Management Framework across the organisation.
Define roles and responsibilities, and support recruitment.
Assess product and configuration data quality; establish data standards.
Develop performance metrics and contribute to tool/interface design.
Collaborate across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, IT and Programme Management.
Travel up to 25%.
