Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd seeks a Configuration Manager for a 6-month onsite assignment in Pitstone, Hertfordshire. You will manage configuration activities, ensuring data integrity and baselining across products, collaborating with the UK Configuration Management Leader.

Responsibilities include CMP creation, CI baselining, change control, status accounting and audits to verify compliance with documented standards and baselines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Configuration Management experience in a rigorous engineering/technical or data management environment.
• Working knowledge of CM Standards: ISO10007
• Experience in Aerospace, Space, Military, Automotive, or Petro-Chemical Industry
• Excellent logical thinker

• Configuration Status Accounting - Maintain accurate records of configuration data, baselines, and changes and produce reports that provide traceability and status of all configuration items.
• Configuration Audits - plan and conduct configuration audits to verify compliance with requirements and ensure that products conform to their documented standards and baselines.Requirements

Based onsite in Pitstone, you will be at the heart of configuration management activities, ensuring project data is accurately controlled and maintained throughout the product lifecycle. As a key member of the team, you will oversee the management of configuration items within the company's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool, working closely with stakeholders and the UK Configuration Management Leader to maintain data integrity, traceability, and compliance.
