Job summary

Accountancy Action is recruiting an experienced FP&A professional for an interim role in the UK. The post requires hands-on ownership of budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting, with the ability to support senior stakeholders from day one.

You will build financial models, analyse variances and deliver clear, commercially focused insights to guide decisions. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidates with advanced Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA credentials.
• Strong FP&A experience and ability to partner with senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A activity across budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting.
• Provide financial and commercial analysis to support business decisions.
• Analyse actuals vs budget/forecast with clear variance commentary.
• Build and maintain financial models and scenario analyses.
• Support long-term financial planning and growth initiatives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand performance and identify opportunities.
• Produce monthly reporting, MI and presentations for senior management.
• Provide analysis on productivity, demand, KPIs and business performance.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and what-if scenarios as required.
• Support strategic finance projects.
