Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods is seeking a detail-focused Food Technologist for a five-and-a-half-month interim assignment at apetito's UK head office in Trowbridge. You will review and maintain product and ingredient information, collect supplier data, and ensure compliance and accuracy across systems to support safe, high-quality meals.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, handling multiple projects while ensuring data integrity from concept through to launch.

Qualifications

• / Essential: Proven experience in a similar role.
• / Essential: Experience in Food Manufacturing.
• / Essential: Checking raw material specifications for accuracy & compliance.
• / Essential: Checks across various food groups.
• / Essential: Knowledge of Food Legislation for end consumer delivery.
• / Essential: Proficient with MS Office & SharePoint.
• / Essential: Multitasking across projects.
• / Essential: Numerical skills for recipe calculations.
• / Essential: Comfortable with multiple data sources.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise a busy workload of specification reviews including new products, 3-year reviews and updates.
• Work with suppliers to prepare and maintain accurate raw material specifications ensuring compliance with legislation, customer and apetito policy.
• Seek timely stakeholder approval of specifications.
• Keep raw material information up to date in internal systems for customers.
• Maintain data accuracy for products, recipes and specifications across internal systems.
• Stay up to date with legislative changes and implement them.
