Interim Financial Controller (Transformation)

Employer Location: England, Bristol

Salary: Up to per day + Day rate

Closing date: 6 Jun 2025

Contract duration: 6-9 months initial contract

Location details: Central Bristol (3 days a week in the office / 2 days from home)

Key requirements:

• Qualified Accountants - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.
• Proven experience in transforming financial processes, especially related to financial reporting and forecasting.
• Bold and confident thinking with a history of challenging the status quo where appropriate.
• Self-starter attitude with accountability to complete tasks.

What you'll be doing:

• Drive process improvements, including automation and optimization of manual tasks involving large volumes of data from multiple sources.
• Contribute to the design of improvements in financial data, processes, controls, and systems to support analysis and decision-making.
• Support the financial control team with ad-hoc tasks related to accounting, budgeting, invoicing, compliance, and reporting.
• Ensure financial integrity through the implementation of complex processes and policy changes.
