AtkinsClarke is assisting in the search for an Interim Financial Controller in Milton Keynes. This PE-backed services group seeks a hands-on finance lead to stabilize day-to-day operations during a mid-transition period.

The role reports to the CFO, overseeing AP, AR and treasury, and focusing on cash flow, controls and MI development. Immediate start and a 3–4 month interim with potential extension are on offer.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant level with hands-on finance leadership experience.
• Strong track record in resolving operational finance issues and stabilising cash flow.
• Experience across AP, AR and treasury; NetSuite experience highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership across AP, AR and treasury during transition.
• Strengthen cash flow management and financial controls.
• Improve reporting and MI to support business decisions.
• Work with CFO to stabilise core finance processes.
• Support the team through a period of transition as changes bed in.
