Job summary

KD Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for an immediate start in the Filey area. This interim role offers a hands-on financial professional the chance to influence cash management, controls and strategic direction.

You will manage daily cashflow, invoicing processes, multi-currency reporting (EUR, GBP, USD), payroll analysis, asset registers and support audits, with a view to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience with Sage and Excel for reporting.
• Strong experience in day-to-day cash management and cash flow forecasting.
• Open-minded approach to understand the entire business beyond finance, including production aspects.
• Proactive attitude with ideas for improvement and efficiency.
• Able to handle transactional duties through to management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations and cashflow.
• Oversee the invoice financing process and bank reconciliations.
• Update ledger reports and prepare monthly P&L accounts.
• Generate weekly sales and invoice reports.
• Manage credit control and debtor ledger across currencies.
• Assist with external audits and monthly reconciliations.
• Perform payroll analysis and prepare creditor/debtor reports.
• Develop customer reports including pricing and turnover by region.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation.
