Job summary

KD Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Interim Financial Controller for a Filey-area SME manufacturing/engineering business. The role covers daily financial management, robust controls, and strategic input. It is initially a temporary position with potential to go permanent.

Key duties include cashflow management, invoicing oversight, multi-currency ledgers, and regular management reporting. The candidate will engage across the business to drive improvements and ensure HMRC compliance.

Qualifications

• SME manufacturing/engineering background preferred.
• Experience with cash management and reporting for multi-currency ledgers.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations and controls.
• Oversee cash balances, cashflow and invoice financing.
• Prepare monthly P&L, weekly sales and invoice reports.
• Handle credit control and debtor ledgers across multiple currencies.
