Interim Financial Controller - 3-6 months, Warrington, Cheshire

Charity People is working with a £10 million turnover NGO to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for 3-6 months based in East London.

The organisation offers a four-day workweek with a salary of £62,539.

The candidate is expected to start in early June 2025.

Key Details:

• Salary: £62,539 for four days per week
• Must be highly experienced in Charity SORP and statutory accounts
• Experience leading system upgrades or implementations
• Hybrid work: twice a week in East London

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete annual accounts and manage the final stages of the audit process
• Coordinate the financial system upgrade, working closely with the Project Manager and overseeing the project
• Lead the payments, accounts payable, and receivable teams, including managing a relatively new team member
• Address and follow up on audit findings

This role will close on 19th July 2025.
