Job summary

Continuum Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced finance contractor in the UK to support an industrial business through its year-end process. You’ll manage the handover from the outgoing Financial Controller, keep the finance function running through year end, and support the onboarding of the incoming FC.

The assignment is 3 to 6 months, potentially through to January or February 2027, and the role requires onsite work five days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering year-end close for a manufacturing business.
• Ability to take ownership quickly and work onsite.
• Strong collaboration with the incoming Financial Controller.

You’ll manage the handover from the outgoing Financial Controller, keep the finance function running through year end, and support the onboarding of the incoming FC.

The assignment is expected to last 3 to 6 months, potentially through to January or February 2027. The business operates in a manufacturing environment, but I’m open to qualified accountants with broader industrial experience. You’ll need to be comfortable taking ownership quickly and working onsite five days a week.
