Hyra is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant in Greater London for a 1-month assignment starting immediately. The role is hands-on, focusing on year-end processes, VAT reporting, and stakeholder liaison with the Board and outsourced finance provider.

You will deliver year-end accounts, reconcile balance sheets, manage VAT compliance, and support audit activity. Strong communication with senior leadership and autonomy are essential to quickly stabilise reporting during the

• Experience in year-end accounting processes.
• Hands-on VAT returns preparation and submission.
• Experience working with Boards or senior leadership teams.
• Experience with outsourced finance providers or external accountants.

Mansioni

• Deliver year-end accounts and related reporting.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Own VAT returns and VAT compliance activities.
• Act as primary finance contact between the Board and outsourced provider.
• Support audit preparation and respond to auditor queries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
