Job summary

Talentedge is partnering with a dynamic London SaaS business to hire an Interim Financial Accountant on a 6‑month contract (Inside IR35). The role is hybrid, with 2‑3 days a week in the London office.

You will support month-end close, prepare management accounts with variance analysis, assist with year-end audit, and work on reconciliations, accruals and prepayments while helping transform financial systems and controls as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting or audit background with UK GAAP and US GAAP knowledge.
• Tech/SaaS or high-growth environment experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model with 2–3 days in London office.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process and financial reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts and variance analysis.
• Assist with year-end audit activities.
• Work on reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
• Collaborate across teams to improve financial processes.

• Supporting the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and variance analysis
• Assist with year end audit
• Working on reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
• Collaborating across teams (including commercial and operations) to improve financial processes
• Contributing to the ongoing transformation of financial systems and controls in line with company growth

About you:

• Strong experience working in a financial reporting position or from an audit background
• Must have UK GAAP and US GAAP knowledge
• Previous experience in a tech, SaaS, or high-growth environment is a big plus
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model (2-3 days a week in the vibrant London office)
